Emergency Lighting Services Inc. is in its 3rd generation as your best provider for comprehensive emergency lighting for commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. We have been serving the East Coast from Boston to D.C. since 1934. Our factory-trained technicians offer 24 hour service, working closely with our clients to ensure that their emergency lighting equipment is updated and functioning properly.

Our primary focus is to identify our customer’s need to establish a professional relationship with a qualified and proven lighting maintenance contractor, and for that customer to receive prompt and courteous services at competitive rates and all applicable EPA guidelines are regularly followed.

Our Planned Lighting management programs include periodic group relamping and cleaning of fixtures to insure that your lighting system is delivering all of the light it was designed to provide, without increasing operational costs.

Emergency Lighting Services, Inc. has a team of skilled technicians who have completed many of the industries best structured training programs. All of our service technicians are Certified Lighting Techincians or Licensed Electricians and are licensed at E-1 and E-2 throughout states in the Northeast. Our lighting management consultants and managers are all graduates of the General Electric Lighting Maintenance Institute of Nela Park, Ohio.

COMPANY HISTORY:

Our company was founded by Francis Clark in 1934, a charter member of (Nalmco) The National Association of Lighting Maintenance Contractors. As Chairman of the Board of Lighting Services, Inc. he was instrumental in establishing much of the criteria currently being utilized today in the (I.E.S) Illumination Engineering Society’s handbook on lighting maintenance. Today, at the age of 85, he continues to contribute his expertise to the current management of Emergency Lighting Services Inc. which includes his son and grandson.

Mr. Clark is a fellow of the I.E.S. who received many honors during his 62 years of membership, including the Louis G. Marks award for exceptional service.

Today, Emergency Lighting Services Inc. strives to continue to uphold the original concept set forth over 65 years ago which is to provide excellent service at a reasonable cost.
