Proper lighting and fire code maintenance is very important due to the time change associated with daylight savings and also because of the upcoming Halloween holiday. Small business retailers and supermarkets are busy selling candy and autumn decorations to customers. They do not want to be worried about bad lighting, non-working fire extinguishers, or malfunctioning emergency exit signs. Lighting Services, Inc. can help when it comes to any or all needs associated with the maintenance of a buildings indoor and outdoor lighting system. They can also make sure a business is up to fire code.

Daylight Savings

The “fall back” in time means that darker evening hours will become earlier and earlier in the following weeks. Just like smoke detectors should have battery replacements done with the time change, so should small businesses be getting the proper maintenance done on their light fixtures, fire extinguishers and illuminated exit signs.

Lighting Services, Inc. offers experienced employees who can handle the maintenance of aerial lighting for large parking lots and numerous walkways as well as a full line of lamps, ballasts and fixtures which may need to be replaced at time of inspection.

Lighting Services, Inc. can also offer energy-saving techniques to customers which is beneficial during the Autumn season when temperatures outside tend to get colder.

Halloween

Trick-or-treaters are a staple for Halloween, and while everyone would rather get treats over tricks, it is important to be prepared. Should vandalism or pranks lead to a fire at a place of business, take relief in knowing that Lighting Services, Inc. has already brought the building up to fire code and properly charged all extinguishers.

If a retail store or supermarket is planning on handing out candy on Halloween night, they want to make sure that all lights and illuminated exit signs are working properly. It will keep customers safe and happy during the trick-or-treating event.

Contact Lighting Services, Inc to schedule a maintenance call today.
